Meh

Hard to control the shooter. Wish I saved the buck

Could be better!

Cool game, great concept, but not addicting at all, because its 50% based on luck, if your shots, miss one target ( and you cant accelerate the rate, so its pure luck), youre pretty much dead and start from scratch , also there is no level, the weapons are random and depending what you get it can completely screw you, so its too frustrating, there is no room for strategy,

Stupid

Mad at myself for wasting money on this. Glad it was only a dollar.

Controls are disappointing

Visual FXs and music come together nicely to give the intended feel to the game. But not having control over your rotational speed and changing directions with every tap is just frustrating when multiple enemies are strafing you in various directions. Made me drop this very quickly

Oversold by Editors Choice

I appreciate the artistic direction, the simplicity, even the attempt to try something different with the controls, but I just couldnt get into this game. I couldnt get into the controls. Very hard to get used to. The whole spin wobble effect looks cool but it just ends up disorienting the whole experience for me. Since the game ends after the first failure, I never feel like Im playing long enough to learn anything, so I dont feel like Im progressing. It might be better if the game didnt end on the first failure of each game. Maybe after 2 or 3 failures. Finally, the simplicity overall is done pretty well but I feel like in some areas the simplicity is done to death, to where the UI looks unfinished. Not bad for $0.99, but not great. I would expect more from Editors Choice.

Unfun game with worst control scheme ever

An endless shooter where a single enemy getting past you a single time ends the game. Possibly the worst control scheme ever for a shooter. You cannot move and shoot simultaneously, nor can you aim once you are stationary. The music sounds like something that was rejected from a compilation of "worst video game soundtracks" for being too generic. This games only saving grace is that I only paid $0.99 to find out how terrible it is

Awesome

The game is simple, but works well and is fun. The music sounds like a prototype of Mega Man Xs and thats not a bad thing

Fun for about 5 min

Nothing super fun about this game. No menus to go through and upgrade. Gameplay is too simple to sustain fun gameplay.

Editors Choice?!?

So its Star Castle meets Tempest only without the ability to control the ship... Wobbly screen effect, overly simplistic "fire + rotation toggle" control, time-limited power ups that dont really do too much and zero panic button type recovery. Meh. Looks good but its just not fun. Ive beaten Smash Hit a dozen times and thoroughly enjoy it still. Not this one - not by a long shot.

Worst game ever.

Where is the fun of it?

Super not addictive

Kind of a boring premise with some interesting game play. No hook, nothing to keep you wanting more.

One of the best arcade games Ive seen

Super fun and addicting! It combines a hard arcade style with great simple design, a fun challenge and unlocking weapons. For an arcade game it is surprisingly not frustrating. I t makes a great game overall and is extremely fun to play.

Mehh

I dont really like the controls. Would be more fun with more control of your shooting dot. Not very intuitive.

Bleh

This game is primitive. Im not sure I appreciate the nuance that other reviewers see in gameplay. I find this tedious and frustrating. Pass.

Good concept

Frustrating controls keep this from becoming anything more than five minutes of semi-fun. Id prefer more of a tempest experience myself.

Terrible controls

This game could be a great game but it has the worst controls Ive ever played with in any game.

Just frustrating

The controls make it really hard. The gameplay just doesnt work. Spend 99¢ on something else.

How dare you compare this to super hexagon

Super hexagon is a masterpiece of minimalistic twitch game play. This is like super hexagon the same way I am like LeBron James... Which is to say, not at all. UI is complete garbage... Controls are frustrating, not challenging. Theres no hope of it being fixed either... The central mechanism is poorly conceived.

Not really worth $1

Interesting for about 5 mins. I wish I could have the $1 back. And the five minutes.

Decent

Would be better as a free game. I dont think its worth the dollar, not that great
